new arrivals/returns will be placed at the end of the list)
Rocky is 5yrs old and a lovely boy who has been in a home, but sadly been returned. He is used to the home environment, house trained and
lived with children. However, he will need socialisation around other breeds and someone who is used to greyhounds/larger breeds. Could you give Rocky another chance?
Red is 5years old and came to us with Ash (who has now found a home!) and is confident and happy. He is a cuddly boy who looks slightly older than his years and therefore should also not be overlooked. He is clean in his kennel and is enjoying the comforts of the blankets. If you can offer Red his special home, do let us know!
Jacko is 4yrs old and another big, but very loving, chap. He loves a game and is very confident and affectionate. He should be fine around smaller breeds given the usual initial care (but further testing will be carried out!) He has a distinctive white line on his face which helps us identify him! He can be quite strong so will need someone with muscles, but this will soon subside once he gets used to regular walks and affection.
Sylvie is 2yrs old and a dear little dog who is nervous at the moment, but hopefully will not take long to come round once she gets to know us. She is not suited to be homed with young children as a result of her nerves, but will be hoping for a special home that can take her needs into account and work with her until she finds her feet. We will be waiting for the right home for Sylvie. Sylvie is fine around little dogs and really coming out of her shell. She will still need someone who understands her particular reactions to things, but she will get there with patience and care.
Zebo is 2yrs old and a little nervous until he gets to know you. He walks very nicely on the lead, is gentle and calm and really enjoys his food. He is bound to come out of his shell quickly and we hope the loving home he deserves is just around the corner!
Christopher is 5yrs old and a beautiful boy who has been in a home before. He would be best suited without young children, but will be fine around other breeds given the usual initial care. He is house-trained, used to the home environment and came with his own wardrobe (he has to wear HIS coat as he takes all others off!). He has been very well cared for and hopes a warm, comfy bed will be awaiting him in a special home very quickly.
Sarah is 2yrs old and a dear little soul who is good with other breeds and is looking for a loving home. She looks a bit patchy at the moment with her bald thighs and nose, but this will soon grow back! She will be back on the cat-walk (dog-walk?) before too long! She is clean in her kennel and loves her food. Sarah is currently reserved!
Fargo is 3yrs old and is a lovely boy who is very good in the car, has lived with both male and female greyhounds and loves his food. He is house-trained, used to the home environment, but has sadly been returned because he needs some socialisation around other breeds. He is sometimes very good and happy to be with smaller dogs; and, at other times, needs to know they are not something to chase. It won't take him long to understand! He would really love another home quickly as he is used to being at home and doesn't want to be shut up in a kennel for a long time.
Blue is 5yrs old and a very friendly boy who is outgoing, confident and loves a cuddle. He is so enthusiastic to go out that he bounces around whilst you get the lead on him, but once he is out and about, he is very easy to handle on the lead and will make a great addition to any home. He loves his food, is clean in his kennel and would really appreciate a comfortable sofa to call his own! However, there are no prizes for guessing what colour he is! Blue had a home for 5 days and settled very well - calm, good with other breeds and clean indoors; but is being returned after a change of circumstances for his adopters. Could you offer Blue another chance?
Sparky is 5yrs old and a happy soul who was known as "stumpy" to his trainer because of his short tail! This only adds to his character and makes him unique! He loves his food, should be fine around other breeds with the usual initial care and loves the other greyhounds too.
Stanley is 7yrs old and a lovely gentle boy who happily shares his kennel with the female greyhounds and loves a cuddle. He seems to have waited a while before getting into the rehoming kennels so it would be lovely if he could go to a loving home quickly and not have to wait too long with us before his own sofa comes along!
Marley is 3yrs old and a gentle chap who is clean in his kennel and good with the other greyhounds. He walks nicely on the lead and is calm and happy. Marley went home for a weekend 'away' and was found to be clean indoors, good with other breeds (with the usual care), happy to live with an accepting female greyhound and generally a lovely boy!
Foxy is 3yrs old and a vibrant character who happily shares with another dog. She will also be tested around other breeds as soon as possible and loves her food. She is easy to handle on the lead and spotlessly clean in her kennel.
Freddie is 3yrs old and came in with Foxy. He is a calm and confident chap who is happy to share with other greyhounds and will be taken on a 'town trip' to be tested away from the kennel environment. He is a lovely boy who should not be overlooked as 'another black dog'. We think black is best! He is also easy to handle on the lead and spotlessly clean in his kennel.
Maggie came to us from another kennels and is a lurcher. We thought she had a home on the day that she arrived, but she has been brought back a week later through no fault of her own. She is only estimated to be 18 months old, is stronger on the lead than the average greyhound, vary playful and loves children and people. She will need someone who is around at home most of the day (which was the original reason or someone taking her to the other rescue when they bought her as a puppy and worked full-time). She is a playful puppy in many ways and needs a chance as she will be overlooked next to the greyhounds and after the world has let her down. She will be tested around other breeds as soon as possible.
Slippy is a lovely, gentle boy who walks nicely on the lead and will be fine with other breeds with the usual initial care. He is clean in his kennel and was rehomed by his trainer, but sadly lost that home and came to us. He will have a dental before he is rehomed as we are all wearing pegs on our noses as we pass his kennel! Slippy has found a home!
Vic is 3yrs old and a handsome, large chap who is very gentle and affectionate. He will make a great addition to any home!
Kai is 3yrs old and arrived with Vic. He is a gentle soul who is also on the large side! He will be fine around other breeds as long as the usual initial care is taken. He is spotlessly clean in his kennel and would love to fall on his paws in a home environment. He ca be a little anxious in new situations, but it does not take him long to get used to everything.
Daisy is 2yrs old and is a really affectionate and confident girl. She walks nicely on the lead, will be fine with other breeds whilst out and about (with the usual care) and will make a great addition to any family. She came over from Ireland to race, but did not succeed on the track. Could you give this girl a home for life? Whoever adopts her will be very lucky!
